The Philosophy Behind PsyYogshala

I am Gloria Barbara Menezes, an internationally certified 500-hour Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher from the Patanjali International Yoga Foundation, Rishikesh.

With over 8 years of personal practice and 6 years of teaching experience, yoga has become much more than a profession—it has been my path to finding peace, strength, and balance amidst the chaos of everyday life.

As the founder of PSYYOGSHALA, my vision is to create a space where people don’t just learn yoga, but experience a journey of transformation. My classes focus on mindful movement, breath awareness, alignment, strength, flexibility, and overall well-being, helping each individual build a healthier body and a calmer mind.

What We Focus On

A Practice That Feels Good to Come Back To

Consistency Over Intensity

You don’t need extreme routines to see progress — just regular, mindful practice.

Clarity Over Complexity

Simple instructions, clear guidance, and sessions you can follow with ease.

Support Over Pressure

No expectations, no judgment — just a space that works for you.

Gloria Barbara Menezes

I truly believe that yoga isn’t about touching your toes—it’s about discovering yourself.

Yoga is not something I teach — it is the way I found my way back to myself. My purpose is to help others discover that same strength, balance, and peace.
